• The most roles are in Bengaluru (48), Mumbai (25), Hyderabad (20). Delhi NCR (Delhi, Gurugram, Noida) has 25; 11 are open to remote work.
• By experience level: Entry (0–2 yrs) 6, Mid (2–5 yrs) 70, Senior (5+ yrs) 54, Leadership 9. Freshers can target the entry-level roles and related titles such as Applied AI Engineer and Deployment Strategist, which hire on demonstrated skill.
• The most-asked skills are Client-facing (89%), AI agents (76%), AWS (52%), Python (51%), APIs (49%), measured over 75 postings with a description.
• Companies with the most open roles: Databricks, DevRev, HighRadius, NVIDIA, Kyndryl, Johnson & Johnson, Prodigal, PwC.

Method

• We read the public job feeds behind employers' careers pages (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Workday and others) several times a day and keep India roles with a Forward Deployed Engineer title or a closely related one (Applied AI Engineer, AI Deployment Engineer, Deployment Strategist, AI-focused Solutions Engineer).
• A small number of roles found on public job listings are added by hand and linked to the employer's page where one exists; the same job seen twice is counted once.
• A posting that disappears from the employer's page is removed within a day. Experience level comes from the title and the years asked for; skills from the posting text.
• This is the set of careers pages we track, not every FDE job in India. We are not the employer and we don't vet postings.
