Practice a difficult-client roleplay with a scoring rubric

A roleplay improves only when behaviour is observable. Score how the learner handles disagreement and records a decision, not whether they sound confident.

Review a fictional score

The delivery lab uses six five-point dimensions.

Create a persona with goals, constraints, authority and pressure points. Give the learner a scope change, unclear success measure or demand for an unsafe shortcut. Score listening, clarifying questions, boundary, plain-language risk, options and written decision.

Record with consent, cite exact moments and choose one improvement. Rerun the same scenario after feedback. Do not reward agreeing with every demand; reward respectful clarity and escalation to the right owner.

Exercise

Run a 15-minute fictional scenario twice. Have two reviewers score independently, discuss disagreement and save the final decision note.
